Nowadays, Royal Carribean Cruise Lines offers cruises that will assure you and your family of countless hours of fun. There was a time when cruises were something only the wealthy and well-to-do could afford.

Landside Excursions
Of course, Royal Carribean Cruise Lines does not just send its ships out into the ocean to sail around in a circle; they actually go places. And, once you reach Freeport or Jamaica, or the Grand Caymans or the coast of Mexico, there are all manner of trips you can take.
On the ship, you will have full lists of every kind of shore excursion available to you. Here is a little tip; each excursion will have symbols next to it that indicate which members of your party it is appropriate for.
So, if you have a handicap person with you, look for excursions that they can participate in. If you want to challenge yourself physically, there are trips you can take.
Then there are trip for those of you who want to soak up the local culture and history. If you go to Mexico, there are excursions to the Mayan ruins at places like Tulum. Just one word of warning: trips like that are only for the able-bodied; other countries do not have the same laws about handicap access.
