Wi-Fi Access in Certain Areas Everyone loves the idea of getting away on Royal Caribean cruises, or any other kind of vacation. It is always such a joy to relax, have fun, and see new people and places. Yet, unfortunately, in our modern, high-tech, high speed world, you cannot always get away from your “regular” life as much as you would like. It is a sad fact of the matter that being on a Royal Caribbean cruise does not mean you can completely escape. Well, if you have to stay connected to the “world,” at least Royal Caribean cruises make it easy. On many of their ships, they have certain areas of the ship that have wireless Internet access; the so-called Wi-Fi system. Getting online is as easy as opening your Internet explorer and logging into their system. Of course, as we all know, just about nothing in life is free. You do have to pay a few for access. You just check with the main desk on the ship, and they will give you the options that are available. You can get an hour, two hours etc. Or, just get unlimited for one flat fee. Their Own Internet Café Of course, you may decide not to bring your computer on your Royal Caribean cruise. After all, maybe you do not have a laptop. Or, maybe you are hesitant to take it on a long journey. You have to weigh the pros and cons of doing so. Packing your computer, you run the risk of it getting banged about, damaged, lost, or even stolen. So, it is perfectly understandable that you might decide to leave it home. That then begs the question: how are you supposed to get online to check e-mails, post messages to your blog(s), download and upload work etc. Well, Royal Caribean cruises have got you covered. Here again, most of their ships now feature a “computer café” where you can access the Internet. Naturally, you have to pay a few, much like the Wi-Fi access they offer. Also, as the number of computers is limited, it is “first come, first serve” at the café. So, going on a cruise doesn’t mean that you have to give up all contact with the world. And, if you are worried about high roaming fees on your cell phone, making use of the Internet is a good alternative. When it comes to good planning, Royal Caribean cruises ranks high on the list.
