I recently had some vacation time saved up so I checked out Holland America Cruise Lines for possibly going on a trip on one of their ocean liners. I did learn a lot about Holland America Cruise Lines and their vacation packages from the brochures I downloaded online. You can talk to a specialist from Holland America Cruise Lines too if you aren’t quite sure what you are looking for, and they will help you out. That’s a nice touch for someone who wants to go, but doesn’t know where.
Fantastic Food
I go places to check out the food mostly and Holland America Cruise Lines have an extensive menu and guest chefs too! The dining room in the Holland America Cruise line boat is immense and gorgeous. Mood lighting makes for a nice calm dining experience. Their food has been rated excellent by a top culinary magazine so you know it has to be good. We have fresh herbs and plenty of imagination goes into the foods prepared too. The chefs at Holland America Cruise can also accommodate kosher or special dietary needs if you request it. You can walk in if you choose the open seating or a fixed time if this is what you desire.
There are also several grills and restaurants around the ship if you prefer a more intimate experience. Every day there are new activities to do if you are interested- cooking school, a fitness center, Spa and activities for the younger folks too on a Holland America Cruise. They have shore activities as well so you can check out the local customs and atmosphere if you like. If you are traveling single like I will be, they have a single partner program as well.
Going Solo
Most Holland America Cruise Lines’ ships have a Solo Travelers party so the single folks can meet each other early in the cruise. They have mixers, cocktail parties and many other things just for the solo set to hook up with others who are traveling solo too. This is a real ball getting to meet others when you think that you might be the only one traveling alone! There are dance classes, cooking and lectures - lots of things to meet and greet other singles at. This was something I was excited about! Doesn’t it sound romantic to possibly meet your soul mate on a Holland America Cruise Line? Works for me!
